Curator's notes about Munch (+)

Edvard Munch (December 12, 1863 - January 23, 1944) was a Norwegian painter and printmaker best known for his exploration of psychology and emotion. Notable works include "The Scream," "The Madonna," and "The Dance of Life." He contributed significantly to modern art by addressing themes of love, anxiety, and mortality, influencing the development of Expressionism in the early 20th century. He created multiple versions of his iconic painting "The Scream," using different mediums and colors, which have become some of the most recognizable images in art history.

This curated collection includes some of Munch's most famous and recognized artwork, as well as some lesser known pieces that we consider ideal for personal collectors. All framed art prints and canvas prints are created from high resolution source files of the original Munch paintings.
