Paul Signac (November 11, 1863 - August 15, 1935) was a French painter and a key figure in the Neo-Impressionist movement, known for his development of pointillism alongside Georges Seurat. Notable works include "The Port of Saint-Tropez," "The Circus," and "Still Life with a Palette." Signac's artistic style is characterized by the use of vibrant colors applied in small dots or strokes, emphasizing the effects of light and atmosphere. Signac's innovative approach and commitment to artistic expression left a lasting impact on the development of modern painting.
