Curator's notes about Seurat (+)

Georges Seurat (December 2, 1859 - March 29, 1891) was a French painter and draftsman best known for developing the technique of pointillism, a method of applying small dots of color to create images. Notable works include "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte," "Models," and "The Circus." Seurat's artistic style is characterized by its scientific approach to color and light, emphasizing the optical effects of color interactions.

This curated collection includes some of Seurat's most famous and recognized artwork, as well as some lesser known pieces that we consider ideal for personal collectors. All framed art prints and canvas prints are created from high resolution source files of the original Seurat paintings.
