Curator's notes about Remington (+)

Frederic Sackrider Remington (October 4, 1861 - December 26, 1909) was an American painter, illustrator, and sculptor renowned for his depictions of the American West. Notable works include "The Fall of the Cowboy," "The Outlier," and numerous illustrations for magazines and books. Remington's artistic style is characterized by his dynamic compositions, attention to detail, and a romanticized portrayal of cowboys, Native Americans, and Western landscapes, capturing the spirit of frontier life. He contributed significantly to the popular image of the American West based upon his experiences as a cowboy and soldier, and is often credited with influencing the genre of Western art.

This curated collection includes some of Remington's most famous and recognized artwork, as well as some lesser known pieces that we consider ideal for personal collectors. All framed art prints and canvas prints are created from high resolution source files of the original Remington paintings.
